Since 2006, a Center for Volunteer Work has been actively working at the NSO Club. It was created with the support of the National Alliance for the Work with Volunteers / NDA / Plovdiv (http://navabg.com/) and is an active member so far. Every year more than 20 young people - students in the secondary schools of the city pass through the Center. In addition to traditional volunteer activities such as Volunteer Day, Anti-AIDS Campaign, Donate Hour, etc. volunteers plan and implement various initiatives targeting young people from the city. In 2012, they implemented the project "Being a volunteer means you care". In 2014, they made a video on the project "I decided - I will vote", in 2016 - the "EcoGero" initiative, in 2017 - "Put down the boredom in Targovishte". With their participation, the donation initiative "Angel Tree" is held as well as visits and joint activities with the former Petar Beron Auxiliary School in Targovishte. Each year, the most active volunteers are awarded the Knight of the Year award by the NARD, and at the annual meeting of the NSO Club the most successful volunteer initiatives are awarded.
